Shamika Goddard is awesome. (One Friar and one Fool met her at UNCO this year, so 2/3 of us speak from experience here.) She is a Tech Chaplain, technowomanist thinker, student, activist, and even auctioneer, among many other things. We recently asked her to talk about technowomanism. What is it? Why is it important? To cover some of these issues, she recently finished a short series of videos. Feel free to comment with questions below, as YouTube comments can possess a toxicity that will melt your fingertips and eyeballs. Hopefully that will not happen to these particular comment threads, but part of why technowomanism is important is because of the horrific behavior we’ve seen in response to women saying things on the internet.
In this video, she explains the Womanism in #technowomanism.
